"HR Professionals’ Role in Data Privacy"

Data privacy laws and regulations are changing rapidly. Additionally, most Boards and C-Suite executives have deemed cybersecurity and data privacy as one of the top risks for their company. Under new laws like the GDPR and the CCPA, individuals have more rights to understand how their data is being used, to access and amend their data, and to request deletion. This trend has a significant impact on companies, including on how companies handle employee data. HR professionals should understand and prepare for these changes and be a part of company discussions around employee data rights and responsibilities.

Monthly breakfasts targeted to specific groups within the Austin technology community to come together in a small group of 25-40. These events include a featured speaker who kicks off open discussion amongst attendees.
